Also, once your valuables have been loaded you will be given the key to the container, and you can visit the storage premises at your leisure (during specified hours, of course) and check on your belongings.

Sometimes, there may be some fragile equipment which will needs special handling. Some conscientious companies provide heavy duty blankets which you can use to cover such equipment to ensure that no damage is done.

Some companies also offer containers on sale. In case you are looking to buy a container, make sure that you insist on a Marine Survey, which is a certificate which states that the container is in good shape and is worth buying.
